    Eric Herberholz I don't know, but there were more cops than people. Swarms of cops all around the building and on the surrounding streets.

    Eric Herberholz I asked a fellow longboarder, what was happening, and he said there were several groups there, related to student fee hikes, education not prison, etc. He works for a newspaper in the Bay Area called Poor magazine ("An on-line news service dedicated to providing in-depth coverage of issues affecting low and no income communities nationally and internationally")

    Eric Herberholz I stopped by one of the many many news trucks and asked the reporter if she knew what was missing here. And proceeded to share the idea of using unconference format-style discussions, so that people could work together with ideas for solutions.
